Such was the verdict of Derek Forrester, a previewer of Via Gamers Arena who's had a chance to play Battle Mages: Sign of Darkness. "Visually, Sign of Darkness is fairly solid, with the maps incorporating a great deal of detail including vegetation and topography such as mountains and water features. As far as the audio is concerned, it appears to be another fully fleshed out feature with a reasonable amount of voice acting. All told, the expansion is looking like its shaping up to be a worthy supplement to the original game".
